Chris joined Maroon PR in April 2006 and has been with the firm since its inception. As Director of Brand & Business Development, his primary role is growing the agency’s client base and managing all aspects of business development.  He also helps lead branding and marketing initiatives for Maroon PR.During his time with the agency, Chris has held various roles including account management. Prior to managing business development he worked with national clients including Sagamore Racing, the One Love Foundation, Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, Father Leo Patalinghug/Grace Before Meals, the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS) and USA Football. His media relations efforts on behalf of these clients and others resulted in coverage from top media outlets such as CBS Sunday Morning, ABC World News, The Wall St. Journal, NBC Sports and USA Today. Additionally he has led efforts which have garnered market-to-market coverage with hundreds of daily newspapers, television news stations and radio shows throughout the country.Prior to working with Maroon PR Chris began his career at Warschawski in Baltimore, Md. where he assisted with public relations and marketing campaigns for national brands such as Under Armour, DEWALT, USA Swimming and Ripken Baseball. His work helped the agency win two national Bulldog Reporter Awards for excellence in media relations.He recently became an adjunct instructor in the Business Communication program at Stevenson University and teaches public speaking.  Additionally, he serves on the department’s Business Communication Advisory Board.Chris graduated from Towson University with a degree in Mass Communications. At Towson, he was a midfielder for the 2001 Men’s Varsity Lacrosse NCAA Division I semifinal team. He resides in Baltimore City and outside of work enjoys golf, running and traveling.<< Back to Team
