Katy Fincham

Katy Fincham joined Maroon PR in October 2010 as an Associate Account Executive. She was promoted to Account Executive in September 2011. Katy works closely on day-to-day activities related to the firm’s clients. Among her responsibilities involve compiling media lists, drafting media and promotional materials, conducting media outreach on behalf of clients and more.

Prior to joining Maroon PR, Katy held the position of Director of Marketing for the Frederick Keys, the “High-A” class A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. While with the Keys, she was responsible for creating and maintaining a season long promotional schedule, buying and creating advertisements, organizing community events and managing the club’s game day magazine. Additionally, she was in charge of supervising overall game day presentation.

Her work with the Keys actually began with a marketing internship during her final semester as an undergrad at Shepherd University. Following her graduation in 2007, she joined the team in a full-time capacity as a Sales Coordinator, and later was promoted to Promotions Manager.

Katy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies, with a concentration in Sport & Event Management, from Shepherd. While in college, she worked as the Sports Editor for the University’s newspaper, The Picket.

Born in Washington DC, Katy currently resides in Bel Air, Md.
