Stefen Lovelace

Stefen Lovelace joined Maroon PR in October 2008 as an Associate Account Executive. In his position, Stefen originally worked with each of Maroon PR’s account teams to offer assistance on a multitude of projects related to their day-to-day activities on behalf of the firm’s clients. To date, he currently works with all of Maroon PR’s sports clients. His responsibilities include compiling media lists, pitching print, radio and television outlets, following up with media and securing media coverage for his clients.

Stefen’s work has led to placements in such outlets as The Associated Press, The Washington Post, Martha Stewart radio, ESPN.com, ESPN Podcasts and many others. Along with his work with clients, Stefen also handles the majority of the editing and writing of internal documents at Maroon PR, including the Maroon PR Quarterly Newsletter. He's also the author of the Maroon PR blog.

Before joining Maroon PR, Stefen was a sports reporter for The Baltimore Sun, where he was the youngest reporter on the sports staff. Stefen’s background as a reporter makes him knowledgeable of the media industry and his experiences have taught him the importance of public relations.

Stefen graduated from Penn State University in May of 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a minor in Kinesiology. He’s worked in various cities in his young career, including a brief stint covering international sports in London, England.

Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Scranton, Pa., Stefen currently resides in Baltimore, Md.
