Renegade

Renegade, based in Hunt Valley, Maryland , is a full-service production and creative agency that serves as a training, production, advertising and studio headquarters for their clients. Past clients of Renegade include, Comcast, Black Entertainment Television (BET), the Baltimore Business Journal, Merritt Athletic Clubs and the Tennis Channel. Renegade houses a 6,000 square foot state-of-the-art production studio that features a 3,000 square foot sound stage.

Renegade has been working with Father Leo Patlinghug - a priest, chef, author, blogger and budding celebrity – since 2003 and Maroon PR has helped promote Father Leo and his movement, Grace Before Meals. Father Leo believes that the simple act of families sharing meals together can help strengthen family bonds and build the relationship between parents and children. The concept has led to a book (Grace Before Meals: Recipes for Family Life), a website (GraceBeforeMeals.com), blog, podcast, web show and e-newsletter.

2009 was a tremendous year for Father Leo. Maroon PR helped secure national coverage around him and his movement in outlets including The Washington Post, ABC World News with Charles Gibson, Fox’s “Fox & Friends Weekend,” Martha Stewart Radio’s ‘Morning Living,” and others. His exposure grew so much that he was featured in an episode of the Food Network’s hit television show “Throwdown with Bobby Flay" in September, in which he defeated the world-renown chef. In November, he was featured on CBS News Sunday Morning, America’s No. 1 Sunday Morning News program, on their annual episode devoted to food.

Maroon PR will continue to help generate media and exposure around Father Leo and the Grace Before Meals movement.
