Jen brings over 15 years of public relations, media relations, social media and digital marketing experience to Maroon PR. Over the years, Jen has worked with a diverse array of companies in Baltimore, ranging from local non-profits to large Fortune 500 brands.
In 2003, Jen began her career working as the PR Manager at Ripken Baseball under John Maroon. She moved on to become an original Account Executive at Maroon PR when the agency opened its doors in April 2006. She then moved on to work in the communications office at the National Aquarium. Before returning to Maroon PR, Jen served as the Social Media Manager in Stanley Black & Decker’s digital marketing department.
Her career in the communications field has paralleled the growth of digital marketing and communications. In all of her past PR roles, she was an influential force in folding digital efforts into PR and communication strategies for companies by maximizing the use of owned media and digital PR. Today, she oversees social media and digital PR efforts, video content and design needs, for all clients at Maroon PR, leading a team of four managers.
She lives in Towson with her husband Ryan and their dog, Eddie.
